“Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” official web site launches

hollywoodnews.com: For months, it’s been little more than a placeholder, but “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” Official Movie Web Site is finally showing some real activity.

At first glance, it promises to be more advanced than the official “New Moon” and “Eclipse” web sites, which featured only a handful of trailers and a few official pictures in the months leading up to the film.

So far, the official “Breaking Dawn” site features 12 photos from the film, a feed from the official Twilight Facebook page, and four separate Twitter filters that follow cast, fan, fan site, and official tweets. Fans can also download the official Twilight Tracker app for iPhone and iPod. And, presumably, after this weekend’s 2011 MTV Movie Awards debut, official trailers will begin to post.

Peter Facinelli at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Twilight star Peter Facinelli stopped by the 2011 MTV Movie Awards red carpet at the Gibson Amphitheater on Sunday evening. Looking dapper in a tux, he was rocking a little more facial hair than usual.

While the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I was supposed to be one of the biggest’s draws of the night, the trailer leaked online hours before the show even began!

If you haven’t already watched it, or if it got yanked before you could sneak a peek, check it out here.

P-Fac, who plays father figure Carlise Cullen in the hit vampire franchise, tweeted about the night’s events, saying:
Back in LA. Going to the MTV Movie Awards later. They’re not doing the WTF award. Maybe its cause of my speech last year. Lol. #F*ckinelli

Kellan Lutz Loved Arm Wrestling Kristen Stewart In 'Breaking Dawn'

Ask a "Twilight" fan which "Breaking Dawn" scene is their favorite or which they're most looking forward to seeing on the big screen, and you'll likely get a hundred different answers. But, ask a "Twilight" castmember the same question, and you might get similarly themed responses from all of them. At least, that's been the case when MTV News has approached the "Twilight" crew about the film: They all love the Kristen Stewart-as-a-vampire scenes.

Our latest example comes courtesy of Kellan Lutz, who, when we caught up with him at the premiere of his new romantic comedy, "Love, Wedding, Marriage," offered this commentary about his favorite "Breaking Dawn" scene to shoot:

"I would have to say the arm-wrestling scene with Bella," he said, speaking about when newly turned and newly super-strong vamp Bella (Stewart) battles beefy Emmett Cullen (Lutz). "It turned out really well. I think the fans are really going to enjoy it."

Lutz isn't the only one who enjoyed Stewart as a vampire: Both Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson have admitted they loved seeing Stewart get feisty.

"We did a scene in the backyard of the Cullen house where Bella (Stewart) gets mad at me," Lautner revealed. "She just learned that I imprinted on her daughter, and she is literally throwing me around the backyard. So it was pretty fun to see Kristen try and act all tough. She's a vampire; she's chucking me across the yard into trees and stuff. It was funny."

Pattinson told us back in January: "It's like she wanted to do it the entire time. It's really funny: It's like a completely different environment onset when she's a vampire and when she's not."

New Photos From Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1

Here are some new stills from the upcoming first part of the final chapter of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Now, if you are a frequent reader of this site, you probably know that hardly any of us bots here care for Twilight, especially me. So, you may be asking yourself, “Arse-bot – if that is your real name (spoiler alert: it’s not.) – why do you continue to post this stuff if you have so much hatred for this series and everything to do with it?” Well, the answer is simple: I find pleasure in belittling this travesty of a “vampire”/”werewolf”/mopey girl love story and quenching myself on the tears of those who try to defend it.

That being said, if I were to ever see an installment of this series in theaters, it would be this one. If for no other reason than to see how the studio handles Edward *&$#ing Bella into a sex-coma and knocking her up, giving her a c-section with his teeth, and then having Jacob turn into a pedophile and falling in love with their child (a transformation that, if you ask me, is much more convincing).

By now, if you’re reading this and are a Twilight fan, I’m sure you’re worked up into a frenzy and are about to leave a comment about how “dumb” I am and that you will never be coming back to Big Shiny Robot and that Twilight is an epic love story and blah blah blah blah blah. If you wouldn’t mind doing me one favor before you leave this site forever and erase it from your cache and history just to ensure there was no evidence you were ever even here: Please explain to me why two supernatural beings that could probably have any woman in the world are wasting their time fighting over a mopey 17 year old girl? I mean, if I was a 100+ year old vampire I think my taste in women may have grown past, “You know what I look for in a woman? I want her to be young, immature, super clingy and depressed as all hell with a shit-ton of emotional baggage.”

New Photo of Taylor Lautner in Breaking Dawn

A new photo of Taylor Lautner in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has hit the web that shows Lautner in character as Jacob Black who makes a run for it through the Twilight rain in bare feet.

Ahead of the new Breaking Dawn photo of Taylor Lautner, Entertainment Weekly posted a preview report on their upcoming issue that gives fans a few first looks at the inner happenings within Breaking Dawn. In the EW interview with Taylor Lautner, the Twilight Saga actor commented on what he went through while shooting the rain sequence in Breaking Dawn. "‘I’m the one in the freezing rain and cold not wearing a shirt," said Taylor Lautner who matured into a Twilight Saga co-star. "I paid my dues in New Moon and Eclipse."

Interestingly, Taylor Lautner also revealed to EW that he's a fortunate Breaking Dawn cast member who doesn't wear a lot of make-up or deals with fake hair while filming.

Check out the new Breaking Dawn photo of Taylor Lautner as he runs through the Twilight rain below:

Peter Facinelli Describes EPIC Volturi Stand-off Scene

Time for the "Twilight" franchise is running out. Though the last two installments, "Breaking Dawn" parts 1 and 2, won't hit theaters until Nov. 2011 and Nov. 2012, filming wraps in Canada next month.

Zap2it spoke with star Peter Facinelli on the occasion his April 25 episode of "Nurse Jackie," and the actor explained what it's like to be one of the last ones standing on the "Twilight" set.

"I'm getting a little nostalgic," he says, "but it hasn't really hit yet. We've been in the thick of it for six months. I'm starting to feel it where you go to the workplace and a lot of people are gone. and I'm missing them already."

Facinelli, who's still got a week left primarily doing stunt work, says that filming the two pictures back-to-back was different, but the real departure for "Breaking Dawn" was working with the huge ensemble of actors.

"It was pretty epic at one point in Baton Rouge," he says of the final installment's climax. "We were doing he scene where the Volturi and the Cullen family are standing off. We had 100 people going through hair and makeup... It was kind of a circus."

Every member of the dueling vampire clans required attention from an army of stylists and designers -- which bodes well for some "Lord of the Rings"-esque visuals, but took quite a bit of time, too.

"I've never seen anything like it, he says, "to get a 100 people to shoot these scenes... and this, we shot it for two weeks straight. It was pretty intense, but it was a lot of fun."

Robert Pattinson filming ‘Breaking Dawn’ in Vancouver

Filming for the final edition of the “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” saga relocated to Vancouver this week.

While some of the cast members got to grips with their set location in North Shore Studios, Pattinson headed about two hours north of the Canadian city to Pemberton to shoot some scenes around the Cullen’s home.

First Official Breaking Dawn Honeymoon Sneak PeekPhoto

The image is simple enough; an outstretched hand grasping some feathers on top of a sheet. For Twilight fans this imagery is much more, a first look at a pivotal scene in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Director Bill Condon tweeted the official first image from Breaking Dawn on Thanksgiving Day, an appropriate gift to the legions of girls and women hanging on every update for the saga's next installment. The scene depicted is most likely of Bella (Kristen Stewart) lying on her honeymoon bed, likely after a wild and crazy night with Edward (Robert Pattinson) that literally tore the pillows apart.

Maybe if Santa's nice Mr. Condon will share another Breaking Dawn sneak peek on Christmas Day. Ho Ho Ho.

Breaking Dawn Sex Scenes More Graphic Than Book?

As The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn continues to make headlines over the controversial birth scene of Renesmee, a new series of Breaking Dawn headlines now focus on the lead up to the sequence, namely the Breaking Dawn sex scenes between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, which are reported to be raunchier than described in the Breaking Dawn novel.

According to OK Magazine, the sex scenes between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be a lot more graphic as compared to what fans of Breaking Dawn read in the novel. A source told OK that Breaking Dawn stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are pushing the envelope in terms of the sex scenes. "They're demanding that their big sex scenes will really push the envelope," said OK. "The source also revealed, they really want "tasteful but extremely sexually charged nudity".

Although the sex scenes in Breaking Dawn may end up to be more graphic than the Breaking dawn novel, fans of The Twilight Saga have to remember that Breaking Dawn will be rated PG-13, which only allows the sex scenes to go so far.

Robert And Kristen: The Most Googled Couple!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are officially the most Googled couple in Hollywood—but you already knew that! Find out what they’ve been up to lately, and see recent photos and video below.

To Twilight fans, there is nothing more intriguing than the daily musings of the real life Bella and Edward—and apparently Twi-hards aren’t alone.

According to multiple sources, the young couple are even more searched for than Brad and Angelina, and even Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. I don’t find it too hard to believe, especially with Breaking Dawn on the horizon.

It all started when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart landed together at LAX this summer. Fans had been dying to get a confirmation that they were actually a couple. All they had were rumors up until then, but that day their suspicions became a reality.

Not long after landing, they were supposedly shacking up in a rental home in LA, spending time together as they waited to begin filming Breaking Dawn in Baton Rouge. At that point interest in their relationship seemed to peak—people just couldn’t get enough.

From there it got out of control. Even though their relationship seemed perfectly normal, the rumor mill began to churn. Stories of a jealous R-Patz began swirling around the web. Some sites said that he couldn’t stand K-Stew’s love scenes in ‘On The Road,’ or even the infamous kiss with Taylor Lautner.

At the end of the day, they always emerged together. I think it is only a matter of time before people just move on and accept that they are just like everybody else—except super rich.

What do you think Twilight fans? Will people keep caring about these two after the final two films come out? Give us your thoughts in the comments section.

The New Breaking Dawn Vampires Are Here!

More than 16 vampires have been added to the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Based on the bestselling novels by Stephenie Meyer, the Twilight series follows the romance between teenager Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen. The movie Breaking Dawn is based on the fourth and final book of the series.

In keeping with Twilight tradition, most of the new cast members are relative unknowns. The most famous faces were reserved for the Denali clan, which features prominently in the book.

Maggie Grace (Taken), Casey LeBow (Moonlight) and MyAnna Buring (Lesbian Vampire Killers) will play the three sisters, Irina, Kate and Tanya. Mia Maestro (Alias) will play Carmen and Christian Camargo (Dexter, The Hurt Locker) is Eleazar.

The Denali clan are just a few of the vampires that are descending on Forks as Edward, Bella and co call on all their vampire contacts for help in the impending war with the Volturi.

Other clans to be introduced include the Egyptian, Irish and Romanian covens as well as the American and European nomads. See the attached photo gallery for a first look at the new vampires.

Filming planned for November

Pre-production is well under way and key crew members have also been confirmed, with director Bill Condon announcing on Facebook an impressive line-up; notably cinematographer Guillermo Navarro, who won an Oscar for Pans Labyrinth, makeup designer Jean Black, from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and visual effects supervisor John Bruno whose work includes Titanic, X-Men and Avatar.

Commenting on Bruno, Condon said: “He and his team are working intensely to develop solutions to the host of special effects challenges that Stephenie created for us in Breaking Dawn, including that remarkable kid.”

The role of Renesmee – the half-vampire half-human offspring of Bella and Edward – will be played by young MacKenzie Foy. The role will require the character to quickly age from baby to toddler and then child.

Three of the books, Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, have already been brought to the big screen with only Breaking Dawn remaining. Earlier this year it was confirmed that Breaking Dawn will be split across two movies. Part one is due to be released in November 2011.

Jackson Rathbone Looking Forward To Breaking Dawn Sex Scenes.

Twilight star Jackson Rathbone said he is looking forward to Breaking Dawn as there's sex in it.

The 25 year-old, who plays vampire Jasper Hale in the popular movie series, said to E! News: 'I can't wait, it's always a reunion. I'm really looking forward to seeing Bella's transformation, that's one of the things that has been building up for a while.'

Rathbone added that he is interested in how they will keep the movie teen-friendly with the sex scenes.

He said: 'I think it's going to have to be PG-13. I don't know how they're going to keep it PG. [Screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg has told us there is going to be sex in this movie. I can't wait. It's in the books and they're married, [so] they gotta consummate that relationship.'

Breaking Dawn Movie Updates: Part 2 Release Date? R-Rating? 3-D?

As racy as that tropical island honeymoon sex scene in "Breaking Dawn" has the potential to be, the movies will stay PG-13, a Summit Entertainment executive told MTV News last week. Intrepid MTV News reporter Eric Ditzian spoke with distribution chief Richie Fay for all the advance "Breaking Dawn" details he could squeeze out of the guy, so we decided to make it easy on all of you, and give you a roundup of what we know so far:

1. IT WON'T BE RATED R

"I don't see it ever becoming an R-rated movie," Fay said. "The middle road we have to travel is a mutual respect as to staying true to the book but not turning off your audience.

"It's always with the eye of making Stephenie Meyer happy and making the audience happy," he added. "I can't say for a fact, but I just don't see us getting into an R-rated area with any of the 'Twilight' titles."

2. PART 2 DOES NOT HAVE A RELEASE DATE

"We've targeted a number of dates, and we have yet to determine when it will happen," Fay said. "We haven't even determined that it will be the summer. It's still the source of discussions.

"We might have a preference when we see where 'Eclipse' ends up," he said of whether it'll be released in summer or winter of 2012. "It certainly might color our thinking, but we're comfortable with either place. Right now, it's a bit early in that stage of planning."

3. FILMING IN 3-D IS STILL A STRONG POSSIBILITY

"That decision has yet to be made," Fay said. "It's still the source of a discussion."

While rising 3-D ticket prices are a consideration, it's mostly a creative issue. "There's certainly a financial part of the discussion," he said. "And yes, there's a certain amount of technology that has to be considered and accounted for. But it really comes down to the creative folks."

"In any of these roundtabls conversations, [Summit CEO] Rob Friedman has always been concerned about the 'Twilight' patron," Fay added. "His concern is always the people that come in to see this movie. He doesn't want to turn them off or offend. That's why it's a creative decision. A big factor is the perception of our audience. What are their feelings going to be? If it lends itself to being a better movie because of 3-D, then that's the technology we'll use."
