‘Breaking Dawn’ Updates: Set Photos and Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee

The publicity for “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” has released a bunch of updates on the movie: we have the title card, some set photos and the news that Mackenzie Foy has landed the role of Renesmee, Bella and Edward’s hybrid child.

Foy is a relative newcomer to Hollywood, although she has done a few TV shows. She is probably the most envied 10-year-old in the country right now, thanks to her new status with the famous Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!
Summit Entertainment has also released the title card for the new movie…it looks much like the others only it uses a nice reddish-orange color, just like it should for Breaking Dawn.
And…a wonderful photo of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s honeymoon night has surfaced. Access Hollywood showed it first and I’m not sure if it’s an official photo release or just out there, but wow! What a photo! Only 301 days left until the release date!

Twilight Breaking Dawn Starts Official Casting For Young Renesmee

Twilight Breaking Dawn starts official casting for young Renesmee. According to breakingdawnmovie.org, there’s official breaking news that the directors of the upcoming “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” movie have now started the intense casting process to find a girl to play the young Renesmee character.

The official description reads like this: “The casting directors for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I” are now casting the role of “Young Renesmee”. They are looking for a young girl who has some acting experience and is confident on a film set environment. This girl should have self-composure, good physical posture, and be very attentive, able to take direction well, and be quick to react. They also would prefer a girl with dance training.

It’s reported that there are currently three casting companies working on the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 and 2″ movies,and they have all made their email addresses publicly known. However, these email addresses are probably being used to just please the public as they have been bombarded to the point where they can’t receive anymore,and the emails are now being returned as undeliverable. It’s very crazy.

The casting directors are also not having open casting calls for the Renesmee character due to the extremely high profile nature of this project.

Who Will Play Renesmee Renesmee ?Cullen?

We are all wondering who's gonna play Bella and Edward's daughter, Renesmee in Breaking Dawn. Well, I have an update for you guys:

While there is already tons of buzz surrounding the graphic birthing scene in the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, and Kristen Stewart having to step up to what promises to be a challenging scene, casting directors are hard at work. They are on the search for the right young actress to play Kristen and Robert Pattinson’s daughter.

That’s right, who will play Bella and Edward’s half-human half-vampire offspring, Renesmee?



Well we already know of one lucky girl who is in the running. Model Management Group posted this photo on its Facebook page Sept. 1 with the following caption:

“Attached is a photo of Kayla and Daniel D. … Kayla is the little girl up for the role of Bella’s daughter in the new film in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn.”

She hasn’t officially been cast but she has at least been submitted for consideration. There has been no confirmation or announcement from Summit about confirmed casting for the Renesmee role.


Already fans are weighing in their opinions about the beautiful girl, many saying she’s too old for the part. However in the book, Renesmee grows older quickly so Kayla could at least play her in the second half of the book.

What do you think of Kayla as the half-human half-vampire Renesmee Cullen? Regardless, this brother and sister have to be cast in something – they are too gorgeous not to be stars!
