Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart To Star In Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
Throughout the course of the Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been playing out a thoroughly complicated romance on the big screen. So maybe it only makes sense that they should be tapped to star in an upcoming movie adaptation of John Gray's classic battle-of-the-sexes book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
Rumors are buzzing that the Twilight co-stars and rumored real-life couple are being eyed for the production, once production on the two-part Breaking Dawn wraps. And though it's an interesting prospect, it's apparently not quite a done deal yet. When asked about starring in the movie recently, K-Stew offered, "Uh, not that I know of."
And Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight juggernaut, was similarly non-committal. According to a Summit rep,
"We do have the rights to the film, but we haven't even started the casting process. In fact, I don't think there is even a script yet."
Of course, neither answer constitutes a definite "no." And when Summit does get around to officially casting the movie, it could do worse than to put its two biggest stars in the headlining roles.
What do you think? Would you like to see R-Pattz and K-Stew in Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus? Or do you associate the two of them too closely with the Edward Cullen and Bella Swan characters?
